About Us

We have all seen the sight on December 26th of trashcans throughout the neighborhood overloaded with wrapping paper that was used once and discarded.  All that paper originally came from trees, and most of it will end up in a landfill.  Some environmentally conscious consumers buy recycled wrapping paper, and some try to reuse bags and paper that aren't too wrinkled.  Now we offer an even better choice.  Our fabric gift bags are made from 100% cotton.  This saves trees from being cut down to make wrapping paper and gift bags.  The bags are reusable, reducing the amount of giftwrap needing to be produced each year.  Furthermore, the bags save paper waste from being added to landfills.

We are so confident that you will love our bags that we are offering a money back guarantee.  If you are unhappy with your bags you may send them back to use within three days of receiving them, and we will refund your money.  We hope you will reuse your bags many times.  If your bags come worn or torn, please send them back to us so we can recycle them.  We will send you a coupon for your next Greenwraps purchase.

As a small company we are further commited to conserving our natural resources through local community efforts, and we also donate a portion of our profits from each sale to conservation related causes.

Shipping Policy

We ship through the USPS and we use their delivery confirmation service.  If you prefer a different shipping method, please contact us.  We purchase most of our fabric online, and the packing material we receive from our suppliers is reused whenever possible.

Go Green

In September, 2007 we donated fabric giftbags to be raffled off at the national Association of Zoo and Aquarium Docents (AZAD) conference.  Association of Zoos and Aquariums (AZA) funds support many worthwhile conservation efforts ($16 million / year in 2006), and they depend heavily on the support of docents to volunteer time for every aspect of the accredited zoos.

In October, 2007 we participated in the Green Festival at Washington D.C.  The Green Festival is a wonderful way to learn more about ways to become "greener" and to support those organizations that are doing their part for the environment.

In November, 2007 we displayed our fabric gift bags at the Scottish Walk Christmas Marketplace in Alexandria, Virginia with Carrotseed, an organization dedicated to eliminating single use plastic bags.  They sell many conservation oriented products including stylish canvas bags for any type of shopping and the amazing chico bags that can fit in a small purse.
